The County Hotel where the conference dinner is held, is offering special prices to delegates. However, only a limited number of rooms are available, thus please book early to avoid disappointment. 
You can change or cancel your booking on the website.

Newcastle University is located in the town centre (In front of Haymarket metro station) and there are a number of B&B's and hotels nearby. However, the Great North Run (annual marathon event) is held on 8th Sep, therefore we recommend you to secure your accommodation well in advance.

  • Conference fees for BATJ members can be applied for by anyone who has paid 2017-18 annual membership fee by the time of registration. For information on annual membership, please see the Membership page.
  • The conference dinner (3 courses for £34) on Fri 31st August is optional. Vegetarian option is available. If you have any dietary requirements, enquiries to Yuka Oeda at <chair @ batj.org.uk>.
  • The deadline for online registration, cancellation, booking alternation is Wednesday 15th August. After this date, no refund is possible.
  • Accommodation is not included in the fee. Please see the Accommodation page.
