The floor will also be given a hands-on opportunity to use several Japanese corpus search tools that are currently available free of charge, to see how useful and effective they are. In addition, the lecture will also provide an in-depth look at some of the standard linguistic features and teaching methods in corpus linguistics, such as Lexical Grammar, Discourse (Semantic) Prosody and Data Driven Learning, to make them useful for your daily Japanese language teaching and research.
