<Outline of the seminar> How do you teach kanji? How many different ways of teaching kanji are there? This seminar will cover learners’ attitudes towards kanji learning – how learners learn kanji and their thoughts about it. This is followed by sharing our kanji teaching methods and classroom activities and a discussion on them by participants. After a short break, the speaker will introduce ‘Onoresho’ as an example of a classroom activity. Bring a brush pen or coloured pencils if you have one (you don’t need to have a brush pen to participate, of course). |
